Where do the funds raised go?

All donations made through workplace giving for the Step It Up event (including matching) will be split equally across all three EY Australia focus charities. Donations will firstly be directed into the EY Community Fund, a sub fund of the Good2Give Community Fund (ABN 75 706 087 295). They will then be donated equally across the EY focus charities. For donations made through workplace giving, every dollar will be matched by EY up to a total of $30,000.

All funds raised through credit card donations will also be directed into the EY Community Fund, a sub fund of the Good2Give Community Fund (ABN 75 706 087 295). All receipts will be issued in the name of The Trustee for Good2Give Community Fund. They will then be donated equally across the EY focus charities. These donations will also be matched by EY up to a total of $30,000.

Five simple steps to reach your fundraising target!

  1. Get the ball rolling and prove your commitment – donate to yourself. Donating to yourself will demonstrate your dedication to the event and cause
  2. Ask your family members to donate. Ask four (or more) of your close family members to donate $50 each = $200.
  3. Ask 16 of your extended family and friends to donate $25 each = $400.
  4. Ask five of your workmates to donate $20 each = $100.
  5. Share your fundraising page on social media to let all your networks know what you are doing. Tag 10 of your friends to donate $20 each – that’s an additional $200.
